A Swiss bee cupboard buzzes loudly with life. The open door reveals a healthy mass of bees, faintly smelling of wax and honey, the legacy of years of exchange between Swiss beekeepers and many colonies of bees. On closer inspection, however, this mass is a video, a poignant reminder that a record is all we may end up with. (This video was kindly provided by CIBER): European honeybees living in Australia return.
