Invasion, displayed during the “2005 Sculpture Survey” at the Gomboc Gallery Sculpture Park, highlights the special care and water which lawn requires, in contrast to the dry sparsely vegetated area where the piece was sited. Reflecting the relationship between the soil and type of plants which typically grow without colonial intervention of garden-hose and fertilizer.
